Welcome to Cefn Cantref Campsite, a beautiful and peaceful campsite in the heart
of the Brecon Beacons
National Park
We’re a small family-run campsite just 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Brecon.
It is a tranquil destination, perfect for accessing the Three Peaks. Whether you have a tent or trailer tent, or hire one of our Bell Tents, it offers unrivalled access to the outstanding views, leisure and outdoor activities offered by the area.
After a long day exploring this beautiful part of Mid Wales, come back to your camp for hot showers, clear skies for star-gazing (The Brecon Beacons National Park become an International Dark Sky Reserve in 2012).
We are open from 1st March to 31st October.
We can ONLY accommodate tents, trailer tents and small camper vans.

We have many attractions on the doorstep which you may not be aware of, such as the Brecon Canal Basin. With the iconic Theatr Brycheiniog alongside, the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal basin offers heaps to do, Brecon Cathedral and Close. Along with the awe-inspiring architecture of Brecon Cathedral itself, don’t miss the heritage centre: an interpretative exhibition, restaurant and shop in an atmospheric 17th Century former tithe barn… As well the many great attractions nearby, each year the area is host to popular festivals and shows.
A few great shows by foot and car are Brecon County Show, Brecon Jazz Festival, Brecon Food Festival, Royal Welsh Show, Wales National Air Show and lots more to see and do!
