Welcome to Cefn Cantref Campsite.

We’re a small family-run campsite just 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Brecon and the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

It is a tranquil destination, perfect for accessing the Three Peaks. Whether you have a tent or trailer tent, it offers unrivalled access to the outstanding views, leisure and outdoor activities offered by the area.

This is a beautiful part of Wales, with traditional market towns, stunning landscapes, canal paths, castles and plenty of family attractions. The scenery here is both beautiful and diverse - rolling countryside and valleys, wide open spaces to the wild beauty of the waterfalls and caves.

Staying at the Cefn Cantref Campsite opens up a plethora of activities and things to do. Your stay with us will be an absolute delight as there are so many Places of Interest in and around Brecon.

We have many attractions on the doorstep which you may not be aware of. Spending a weekend exploring will have you hooked and we hope you will agree that its worth a longer visit!

As well the many great attractions nearby, each year the area is host to popular festivals and shows, such as the Brecon County Show, Brecon Jazz, Hay Festival,
Green Man Festival, Royal Welsh Show, and lots more to see and do!

The National Park means many different things to the people who live, work in and visit the area.

The National Park has its own history and heritage, and its own cuisine, traditions, myths and culture.

At the A470/A40 Interchange - west (roundabout) take junction for Brecon -pass golf club, after @ 1/2 mile turn right at church, then stay on same road going past school and up hill (Beilihelyg) and over flyover for 1 mile, taking the first junction on left sign posted Cefn Cantref. Entrance to campsite a further 50 yds on right.

If you want to arrive after 7pm, please give us a ring so we can keep your place. Check out is prior to 11.30am. Should you wish to leave later, a day pass can be purchased for £5 allowing use of the facilities up until 5pm. The amenity block is closed between 12 and 1pm daily for cleaning and maintenance.

Check in Between 13:00 and 19:00 hours
